Manish Pandey was the first uncapped Indian player to score a century in the Indian Premier League (IPL). On May 21, 2009, representing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he scored an unbeaten 114 runs off 73 balls against Deccan Chargers at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, South Africa. This innings included 10 fours and 4 sixes, making him not only the first Indian to score an IPL century but also the first uncapped Indian to achieve this feat.
